Questions REGARDING WEDDING SPEECH WRITING SERVICES

We're having a friend or family member officiate.  what would be your role? 

Here's the reality:  Your friend or family member may not truly know how to do this. They may not know what questions to ask to write a funny and sweet 8-10 minute narrative of your love story. Or they may be super busy - and/or may not like public speaking, nd this could be causing a lot of anxiety for them. 

Our role is to make it easy for them  AND make sure that the ceremony is everything you're hoping it will be.  

To do this - we interview both of the couple individually as well as the friend or family member officiating. 

How much does it cost?

A la carte - for the full package - we charge $1,950  - which includes the interview, unlimited revisions, and three delivery coaching sessions.  However, if you're already pretty far along into the process , it may be less.  Reach out, and let us have a look at it, and we're happy to give you a custom quote. 

DOESN'T GETTING HELP MAKE IT LESS PERSONAL? 

NO!  In fact, it's the opposite. Through the interview we do, we wind up getting thoughts, feelings, and stories that many don't remember to think about on their own.  These are specific to your relationship, and make it feel more personalized, more intimate, and more connected. 

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT THAN USING CHAT GPT/AI?

We don't use AI in our writing - ever - and here's why:

Chat GPT & other programs try to guess what works based on what it's consumed, but the reality is that AI doesn't actually have feelings.  It doesn't know what's funny,  or what's sweet,or romantic.  It can't tell you what not to say - what might be slightly offensive or could be misconstrued. Most importantly, it doesn't sound original:  Astute listeners/readers will see those little things that scream AI.... and then know you're the person who used it.  

These are human moments that should be written by humans. 

I'm the officiant - but i don't want the couple to know i've gotten help. how does it work in this instance? 

We'll respect your request for confidentiality (though there's no shame in getting help to make sure the ceremony is truly perfect).  

If you've already interviewed them, we'll review what you have to see if you need to ask more questions. If you haven't, we'll give you some guidance to help you get what's essential out of the couple so we can write something that is great. 

Can you write an interfaith, blended, or non-religious ceremony?

Yes, absolutely. We do many of them — interfaith, multicultural, spiritual-but-not-religious, fully secular, and everything in between. We honor the traditions that matter to each of you and weave them together so the ceremony feels like one story, not two halves stitched together.

Can you incorporate readings, blessings, or cultural rituals?

NO!  In fact, it's the opposite. Through the interview we do, we wind up getting thoughts, feelings, and stories that many don't remember to think about on their own.  These are specific to your relationship, and make it feel more personalized, more intimate, and more connected. 

We'll incorporate anything you'd like - and we've even come up with some fun, unorthodox ways to approach it. We've created the "Ancient Fireball Unity Shot" ritual, quoted the great philosopher "Huey Lewis", and found other new and unique ways to bring little details from the couple's lives into the  mix. Let's have fun with it!
